As another Indoor season draws to a close at County Antrim Indoor Bowling Club we have a look back at the successes of the season just past.
The year most notably belongs to our ladies four of Muriel Wilkinson, Wilma Adair, Olive Paisley and Barbara Cameron as they achieved the tremendous honour when they won the British Isles Ladies Fours at Stanley Indoor Bowling Club in England last month. They comprehensively beat the Channel Islands (24-10) and Scotland (21-8) ladies fours to win the title and we are absolutely delighted at your success.
We also congratulate the County Antrim Indoor Bowling Club members who competed at the British Isles Championships in several events:

It was pleasing to see some of our boys and girls emerge onto the full International team, joining our already capped counterparts on the International stage. Although both the mens and ladies teams results didn't go to plan there we're some encouraging displays and they have a great future ahead and deserve our full support.
A special mention also goes to the clubs men's team who won the Association of Irish Indoor Bowls Inter Club Championship for the second year in succession.
Finally we would like to wish Sarah-Jane Coleman success as she travels again to Australia this time to compete indoors at the Womens World Cup, James Talbot will also compete in the Mens World Cup and Ashleigh Rainey the Womens Junior World Cup (outdoor).
