What visitors ask before coming up for an event.

Can anyone come and watch?
Yes. Competitions are free to watch with no ticket, seating down both sides of the greens and the bar open through the day.
Do I need to book to spectate?
No. Just come in. Booking is only needed if you want a rink to play on.
When does the season run?
September to Easter. Fixtures and competitions are listed here as soon as dates are confirmed.
What can a beginner come to?
Open days and pay-and-play sessions. Bowls are lent out and staff will start you off, and there is nothing to book. Indoor bowls
Are weekends always busy?
Weekend hours depend on the competitions and events calendar, which is why this page is worth checking before you travel.
Is there parking?
Free, lit, 120 spaces at the door, with room for a coach or minibus.
Can I book a rink?
Ring the office on 028 94 432 937 and we will tell you what is free and put you down for it. There is no online booking — a call is the way to do it, and the calendar here shows what is already on rather than what is available.
Can we take a whole session?
Yes. Afternoons with rinks free are hired as a block for competitions, corporate bowls or the full arena. Venue hire
