Who these terms are with

This website is run by County Antrim Indoor Bowling Club, 20b Ballysavage Road, Parkgate, County Antrim, BT39 0DX. Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it. They sit alongside our privacy policy, which explains what we do with your data.

Using this website

We try to keep everything here accurate and current, but session times, prices and fixtures change. Anything on this site is information rather than a binding offer — if something matters to your plans, ring the office on 028 94 432 937 and we will confirm it.

Please do not use the site in any way that damages it, interferes with anyone else's use of it, or tries to get at data you are not entitled to.

Rinks and session bookings

A booking is confirmed when we email you to say so, not when you submit the form. Session prices are shown on the indoor bowls page and are per person for a two-hour session.

Please tell us as early as you can if you cannot make it, so the rink can go to somebody else. The club may cancel or move a booking where a competition, a fixture or maintenance needs the green — we will always contact you, and anything you have paid is refunded in full.

Event places and tickets

Some events are booked here and paid for by card; others are entered on the organiser's own website, and where that is the case the event page says so and links to it. For those, the entry fee, the closing date and the refund terms are the organiser's, not ours.

For places booked through this site: if the club cancels an event, you get a full refund. If you cannot come, contact us and we will do what we can, though we cannot guarantee a refund once a place is confirmed and numbers have been set.

Membership

Applying through this site is an application, not a membership. The committee considers applications and may decline one; if it does, anything you have paid is refunded in full.

Membership runs for the season and is governed by the club's rules and constitution, which you accept when you apply and which are available from the office. Subscriptions are not refundable part-way through a season except at the committee's discretion.

Leagues and competitions

Entry is open to members, and to non-members where a competition says so. The conditions of play, entry fees and closing dates for each competition are set by the club or the relevant association, and the decision of the competition secretary or the committee on any dispute is final. Results published on this site are the club's record; if you think one is wrong, tell us and we will check it.

Payments and refunds

Card payments are handled by Stripe. The club never sees or stores your card details. Prices include VAT where it applies.

Where a refund is due it goes back to the card that paid, and usually reaches you within five to ten working days depending on your bank.

When you are here

Flat-soled shoes are required on the greens — this protects the surface, and it is the one rule we cannot bend. Please follow any instruction from staff about the building, the greens or safety.

• Children must be supervised by an adult.
• No food or drink on the greens.
• The club cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings left on the premises.
• Parking is free and at your own risk.

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, the club is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or from a booking made through it.

Content on this site

The text, photographs, crest and design on this site belong to the club or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking. Sponsors' logos belong to those businesses. If you believe something here infringes your rights, tell us and we will deal with it quickly.

Governing law, and changes

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute. We may update this page; the date at the top shows when it last changed, and the version in force is the one published when you use the site.
