History will be made at Jim Baker Stadium as we welcome the World Bowls Junior Indoor Championship to County Antrim. From 1st-4th December 2025, the eyes of the bowling world will be on our venue as 36 of the planet's most talented young bowlers from 18 countries compete for three world titles.
This represents a great opportunity to witness world-class bowling on our greens, with Ireland's premier indoor venue hosting one of the sport's most prestigious youth competitions.
The Competition
Three world titles will be contested over four days of intense competition:
- Men's Singles Championship
- Ladies Singles Championship
- Mixed Pairs Championship
With 36 competitors representing 19 nations, the championships showcase the future stars of world bowling competing at the highest level.
Team Ireland
We're immensely proud that two of our own will represent Ireland at the championships:
Adam McKeown - Fresh from his success at the World Bowls World Cup in Malaysia, Adam brings world-class experience to the competition.
Lara Reaney - Also off the back of World Cup success, Lara has proven herself on the international stage and will be looking to excel on home soil.
Both players will have the advantage of competing on familiar greens, supported by home crowds throughout the championship an will be join by fellow Irish competitors Daniel Spratt (BIBC), Zoe Stratton (BCIBC) and Lorna McMullan (BIBC).
